Lucas Mass Airflow Meter Delete (Trionic 5)

Description

Running Trionic 5 on your Lucas equipped Saab C900 makes the factory mass airflow meter redundant but you’re still stuck carrying its housing, a solid aluminum pipe weighing close to a kilogram, just to keep the intake tract connected.

This part replaces it. Printed in ASA-GF for heat resistance and durability, it matches the original housing’s dimensions and mounting geometry, so it installs as a direct swap – no adapters or modifications.

The original mesh screen and circular retaining clip are also supported although not required as it’s main purpose is supposedly to protect the sensor itself. But if you feel you’d like to keep this extra debris protection in place, you can.

The result: the same fit and function as the original, at roughly 150g instead of ~1kg.
